What Kind of Controller Should you Choose?
American Rotary has some exclusive choices for you - ones that you cannot find anywhere else. Here are the basic differences between Basic (no controller), Mechanical and Digital Controls:

American Rotary Digital Rotary Phase Converter

Basic (no controller): provide true three phase power, with basic voltage balancing. This is a great way to go for a very cost effective phase converter solution, and no controls are used by the majority of other phase converters on the market.

Mechanical Controls: are more sophisticated than a basic unit, and deliver a voltage balance across all three lines. This tighter tolerance is required for CNC equipment, and also is a benefit to non-CNC three phase loads.

Digital Controls: are the most sophisticated and reliable way to start and control a rotary phase converter. These units provide the most protection to the start circuit and the idler/generator of the converter, and they allow for increased torque that can be required for extreme starting loads.
