LIMITED WARRANTY
American Rotary Phase Converter Control Panels

This Limited Warranty and Service Policy describes American Rotary’s warranty and warranty procedures.

Scope of Warranty:  All American Rotary Phase Converter Control Panels are warranted against defects in workmanship and materials.  Warranty issues on American Rotary Control Panels are rare, and can generally be performed in the field.  Service is also available at American Rotary’s Factory Service Center in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.  Please determine the correct warranty period for your product:

“Field” Warranty Service:  Field warranty service must be pre-authorized and may be performed by the Purchaser or the Purchaser’s agent.  Parts will be supplied and shipped at no charge from American Rotary.  Factory support specialists are available during normal business hours or by appointment.

“In-House” Warranty Service:  After obtaining pre-authorization, American Rotary will provide the Purchaser a pre-paid return label to ship the Control Panel requiring warranty service to American Rotary’s Factory Service Center.  In most cases, repaired units or replacements will be shipped back to the Purchaser within 48 hours of receipt at the Service Center.

Repairs or Replacement within the Scope of the Warranty:  If the Control Panel is defective due to American Rotary’s workmanship or materials and the defect occurs during the warranty period, then American Rotary at its option will either repair the product or replace it with a new one.  

Repairs Outside the Scope of the Warranty:  Problems with American Rotary Phase Converter Control Panels can be due to improper maintenance, faulty installation, non-factory additions or modifications, or other problems not due to defects in American Rotary workmanship or materials. If American Rotary’s staff determines that the problem with a Control Panel is not due to defects in American Rotary workmanship or materials, then the Purchaser can opt to pay the cost of any necessary repairs and shipping.  Purchasers not satisfied with a determination that a problem is outside of warranty coverage should contact American Rotary directly for further consideration.

Exclusions of the Warranty:  This warranty does not cover accident, misuse, fire, flood, and other acts of God, acts of terrorism, nor any  contingencies beyond the control of American Rotary, including water damage, incorrect line voltage, improper installation, installation where unit will not meet national and local electrical 
codes, missing or altered serial numbers, and service performed by an unauthorized facility.  American Rotary is not responsible for removal and shipping of the Control Panel to the Service Center, quality of field repairs, and reinstallation of the Control Panel upon its return to the customer, or any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the defect, removal, field repair, reinstallation, and shipment or otherwise.  
American Rotary’s liability for any damages caused in association with the installation and/or use of American Rotary's equipment shall be limited to the repair or replacement only of the American Rotary equipment. No person, agent, distributor,dealer, or company is authorized to modify, alter, or change the design of this merchandise without express written approval of American Rotary. No other 
warranties, expressed or implied, are in effect.
