About Three-Phase Power.

Enclosed Contactors

Enclosed contactors give you automatic control over when your equipment runs.

Installed on the three-phase side of your system, they continuously monitor power from your phase converter and only allow operation when proper voltage and balance are present.

If the converter shuts down, loses a phase, or becomes unstable, the contactor disconnects the load before damage can occur.

Choosing the Right Enclosed Contactor

Select an enclosed contactor based on your equipment amperage (FLA) and application.

Each model is designed for a specific amp range to ensure safe operation and proper protection of your equipment.

These contactors are installed on the three-phase output side of your phase converter and are commonly used with CNC machines, welders, compressors, and other industrial equipment.

FAQs

Everything you need to know about getting the right power for your equipment.

What is an enclosed contactor used for?
An enclosed contactor automatically connects and disconnects power to your equipment based on system conditions, helping protect against phase loss and electrical faults.
Select based on your equipment’s full load amperage. Choose a model that matches or slightly exceeds your load.
Phase monitoring checks all three power legs and disconnects the load if voltage becomes unbalanced or a phase is lost.
The contactor automatically disconnects your equipment to prevent damage.
Yes. It prevents your equipment from starting until proper 3-phase power is present.
Yes, installation should be done by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical codes.
