I recently acquired a Prototrak DPMSX5 Bed Mill and Prototrak TRL1440 Lathe and needed to install a Rotary Phase Converter.
After many internet searches and reading a lot of reviews I settled on the AD10 from American Rotary. I am so impressed with this company. Ally from American Rotary answered all of my questions and was so pleasant and so professional.
I have attached a photo of my installation. The bottom right side of the converter is my 220VAC single phase input (with disconnect), the top runs to the attic where my 10HP 3-Phase idler is installed, and the bottom left runs across the room to my 3-phase load center.
